Latest android 15 beta has broken support completely for freeform windows.

When trying to use an app in window form, SystemUI immediately crashes, and takes you to lock screen.
You end up actually in a mild/moderate soft loop of unlocking, system crashing, and being taken right back to unlock screen.
AS LONG AS THE FREEFORM WINDOW IS ON SCREEN WHEN YOU UNLOCK SYSTEMUI WILL CRASH.

best solution I've found, for the System Crashing loop at least, is pull down notification all the way and enter system settings then go home.

I've ensured all permissions are set and activated via adb.
I'm worried this latest update completely broke freeform. It renders the window and app, but SystemUI always crashes.
