CC @JakobDegen - I believe b8c3eba#diff-bc4913d026ae51bef2bc8b7a1c040fdf52b999d99e6fa40d87b379f98a60e0ea was meant to make this work. But doesn't in practice. This is a bit of a shame as its linked from https://engineering.fb.com/2023/04/06/open-source/buck2-open-source-large-scale-build-system/
