  1. What's the last Thunderbird compatible version ?
  2. How can we revert to last TB compatible version ?
  3. Can we block automatic updates of TB ?

  1. The latest release of removedupes is compatible with Thunderbird 128.*
  2. Install the older version, and follow the instructions here to use the profile you've already used with the newer TB version.
  3. I'm pretty sure that you can do that in the preferences dialog, and about:config at worst
