Mad Libs is a phrasal template word game where one player prompts others for a list of words to substitute for blanks in a story, before reading the – often comical or nonsensical – story aloud. The game is frequently played as a party game or as a pastime.
In this version of Mad Libs, you will be playing through your local terminal with the support of Gerald, the giraffe (play to meet him!).
- Download ZIP
- unzip in download or desktop
- Open terminal
- cd to zip file
- cd [click and drag file into terminal]
- Type ' python3 ./madLibs.py ' into terminal
- Follow prompt in terminal to start playing!
- Follow the prompt on the screen and enter a [verb, adverb, noun, number, adjective, etc.]
- Click enter to input your word
- Continue steps 1 and 2 until the end of the prompt
- Your story will be completed and presented immediately after you finish the prompt
- Enjoy your Mad Lib!
