Set up for this repository the workflow for automated version increments in pull-requests added via eclipse-platform/eclipse.platform.releng.aggregator#2352

Before this can work complete, the EF infra team has to add the required PAT of the Platform-bot to this repo as described in the linked PR and requested in

The PAT has been added via eclipse-equinox/.eclipsefdn#1, but the build failure has to be fixed first

With the current approach to run a expedited full build we actually also need the equinox.binaries repo checked out.
Have to think about a way to elegantly avoid that.

I think we already have had some ideas here e.g.

1. use git-lfs as with swt
2. use git-submodules
3. ...

maybe we can apply any of those here as the split with two repos is uncomfortable in other situations as well.

Submitting this was too quick.

Looks like mvn -f bundles doesn't work because the bundles folder doesn't have an explicit pom.xml...

I'll have a look into creating a profile that just fetches the binaries directly so we can do the version-check for the entire repo.

I think we already have had some ideas here e.g.

1. use git-lfs as with swt

2. use git-submodules

Both options have already been discussed in:

• Convert binaries to LFS or remove need to push binaries to Git and merge with regular Equinox repo equinox.binaries#1
• Use submodule to include the equinox.binaries #467
