Is there a way to store workflow executed code inside files

I would like to store executable code in separate files. For example, I have a Netmiko service and a Python snippet service in my workflow. By default, the Python snippet code will be stored in the database, which is inconvenient for editing. Is there a way to store Python code in separate files to work with them via Git?
