I've tried all the methods here and though they've improved the output in HDR mode, there's still something that is off.
For context, I am using my built-in Mini-LED display. The reason I wanted to view SDR content in HDR mode is because my local dimming feature only is enabled with HDR turned on.
That said, compared to SDR mode, the colors don't seem right. I have a creator laptop with a calibrated display and I wanted to see if it was possible to somehow translate my calibrated ICC profile to be used in HDR mode. I've tried your profiles, alternate method, and the autoHotkey script and they definitely improve the sdr content in HDR mode, but the colors are still washed out. SDR mode loses contrast and the deep blacks, but it improved on everything else.
I've looked through your guides and other posts so I'm not sure if I can somehow convert my ICC profile to essentially output the same sdr results with HDR enabled. Thanks

Lots of possibilities here. Do you have calibration charts for either of your monitors, either for SDR or HDR (or both)? It's possible that your monitor's EOTF and color management within HDR mode is simply inaccurate. Is your calibrated monitor clamped to sRGB? If it's not, then you likely haven't been seeing accurate colors. If you have an iPhone, or an Android with a "Natural" screen color mode, try to compare the same picture on both displays, at the same brightness, without True Tone or any sort of screen filter applied. The one that looks closest to your phone image in Natural mode is the most accurate.
So I'm new to this, please bear with me.
