Considering its an "About Me", I think it would be more appropriate to show the bot's application description, like in the integrations section on server settings or connections on user settings. |

They could just use another label if its a bot user. e.g. "Bot Description" instead of "About Me". |

I think the new about me would be awesome. When using the application description you would missing the markdown feature except you allow the application description to support markdown. In addition it would be also nice to allow bots to set an (application) banner to show off their branding. |

About me/bio would help http/interaction bots a lot, so the developers of those bots could put a message there stating it doesn't need to be online to work etc. and it could be used for maintenance/outage messages like #1769 was asking for. And could be used to put information for the bot like prefix, website, support and/or help command. Instead of doing it through the playing status. (which you can't see the full thing anymore since bots don't have the Activity tab when viewing the full profile) |

I imagine that many bots could use this feature to break the terms of service. For example: Nitro Rewards server advertising bots with a super flashy banner with a server advertising or else a bot inviting the user to an NSFW server with a banner with explicit content Releasing custom banners only for verified bots would better filter out bots that really want to make proper use of the feature. |

Verified bots could still change their banner after being verified(same as avatars) and it's not like Discord would go through ever single bot to make sure they have a TOS appropriate one. So you would be back at square one. And I don't think they want to lock features behind verification like that. |

It wouldn't make sense to moderate something in that manner. Going by this logic, bots also shouldn't be able set statuses or send dms to server members for the exact same reason. |

That's a flaw on Discord's too low of a bar on verification. Does verification even mean anything if being verified doesn't put developers in a position of trust? Instead of gating everyone out of nice things, the underlying issue of the meaninglessness of verification is the one to be addressed. But that's off the scope of this particular post. |

If bot can set bio, It will be so good.
Why This is Needed
Playing (Text)has max character limit, and only one line.But with bio, status can be used as "status", and can break line so it will be easy to read.
With status:
