This PR updates the MySQL provider to use a modern library, and this should work out of the box (it does on my machine at least, but I have a slightly different version that uses dotenv to hold login credentials which I can update the PR if you want that included).
I switched the library, changed the Boolean type from BIT to TINYINT, and made some minor changes to the code to get it working properly with the new library.
