As follow-up to #601 #849 we need a tool to handle DB structure changes. Proven tools are https://liquibase.org/ and https://flywaydb.org/.

Acceptance criteria

  • pick a tool
  • ensure the spring hibernate ddl auto is NOT activated and that the tool handles structural changes at application startup
