Once done evaluating Rancher Desktop, possibly mark that as the new Windows/Mac preference (replacing docker-desktop)

Annoyances with Docker Desktop:

• WSL2 + Docker causes severe memory leaks in vmmem process, consuming all my machine's physical memory microsoft/WSL#8725
  • This issue may be just a problem with WSL; to be seen if Rancher Desktop surfaces the same problem.

Update: Rancher Desktop appears to have similar issues in cases where the dev's computer is kept turned on for many days (and merely "slept" during the night). So no clear winner in this area. (and don't even know which one handles it "better" atm, it's possible they are exactly the same on this particular issue)
