can you confirm iOS, and damus versions? are you able to provide a screen recording of this behavior? |
This has been present on all versions so far.
Currently using Damus 1.12.3 (755) and iOS 18.3
The behavior is hard to capture because it’s not consistent but I’ll try.

full persistent drafts are in 1.13 which is coming soon |
🙌
Will we also have draft history, i.e, multiple draft notes stored locally?

not multiple drafts for the same note, just persistent auto-saving drafts for all replies, quote replies, new posts, etc |
To clarify, I meant a drafts folder.
|
we don't have that yet but it's something we were talking about on our standup this morning |

What happens
When switching apps, for example between Damus and a web browser, the app frequently refreshes the content and the user loses their place, and often the contents of a note in progress.
What I expect to happen
I expect to be able to return to the note I was writing even if I close and reopen the app.
Additional context
The desired behavior is how the app Nostur currently works. All notes in progress are stored locally and available to edit until deleted or published.
