AC:

  • Suite has an acknowledgements file that references all included components and their licenses
  • (optional, nice to have if easy) Suite NOTICES.txt can automatically be updated with a new suite release

For the acknowledgements file format, you can look to the Secretless NOTICES.txt

The OSS components included in the suite are exactly the components in repositories.yaml, and the list should come from there

You may be able to leverage this new alpha-level tool to auto-generate the updated file (but you will need to add a way to input the deps from the YAML to the tool)

  • draft-release.yml includes a stage for attaching the NOTICES.txt to the release artifacts

Note: since the suite right now is an aggregation of links to the individual projects, we're not going to add an OSS acknowledgements file to this project at this time. We may revisit once we start bundling artifacts and delivering a comprehensive suite artifact at some future date.
