Wondering what the state of the DCS/TCS pins really needs to be if only operating in I2C mode for touch and display. The datasheet of the SSD7317 driver chip says to hold the DCS pin LOW, however, in your example you say to hold this pin HIGH. My guess is that this pin is strictly used for SPI mode and doesn't effect anything in I2C mode. However, would be nice to know this before spinning a board since there's not breakout board available for this display.
