I see there is something on Roadmap named.. Gateway condition rules
Dont know if this is related to that
Merchants often need more control over which payment gateways are available for specific products.
A common use case is restricting the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method for certain products due to a high return rate.
Use Case Example:
A store wants to disable COD for high-value or frequently returned items.
Certain products may require only prepaid payment methods to reduce fraud or logistics costs.
Some payment gateways may be region-specific, requiring conditional availability based on customer location or order contents.
Proposed Solution:
Introduce Gateway Condition Rules, allowing merchants to define logic-based conditions to enable or disable specific payment gateways based on:
✅ Product, Product categories
✅ Order total value
✅ Shipping method or destination
✅ Customer group
This feature would give merchants greater flexibility, helping them optimize payment options, reduce return rates, and improve checkout experience.
