Concerto on SSL and mixed content problems

I have just moved concerto to a SSL secured URL and I'm now having problems with content not showing in the iframe that is on a http:// URL.

The only thing i could think of to fix this is for this plugin to have an option to proxy non-https content through the concerto host, and that this plugin would urlencode data:url and prepend a URI to a proxy script on the concerto host.

Are there any other options that i am overlooking?
