How to add a modal button in Content window? How to change image directory path?

I added button for bootstrap model on Item main view. When I click it model open up but Content window close as it defines in plugin. So modal is hiding behind grid. I want to keep open the Content section and disable the mouse cross style pointer on hover of modal button. When I tried to change the directory structure large images path is getting broken.
