Upgrade to latest cockpit on Ubuntu 18.04

Hi, is there a way to upgrade cockpit on bionic to the same version on jammy?

No, version 215 is already the latest available backport for bionic (18.04 LTS). We only actively test, support, and update backports for the latest LTS (22.04 at the moment), where you can get version 287 from backports. See https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cockpit

So there's no way to get any of the v287 features on bionic? I cant even detach the cdrom drive on 215.

No, there isn't. Also note that 18.04 bionic is end-of-life now (or at least will be soon), as its 5 year support period is over.
