I was wondering the same opening the PRs half a year ago that are still hanging without response.
At the end we forked this project and continue development for our use-case.
Our fork (named MortalGPU) can be found here: https://gitlab.com/MaxIV/kubernetes/mortalgpu
It is used in production and we aim to continue maintaining it.

Any chance you can mirror the codebase to Github? Would be good to have an up-to-date mirror here as well, even if read-only.
