ArgVu Font in VSCode not working

I followed the instructions in the "Using ArgVu in VS Code" section of the README file, but after adding the provided snippet

        "editor.fontFamily": "ArgVu Sans Mono Regular"
    },

into the json settings of VSCode, the font does not work. In fact, it changes my the default font to something different, like Times New Roman.

Any idea of what may be happening here?
