The packages within this repository are maintained by a small team of volunteer Community Maintainers, in their own time. Their time, like yours is important. Please help them by not wasting it.

I could be misremembering things, but I believe the Google Chrome MSI version number does not match the installed version number.

Actually, I just checked, and the MSI version installed on my VM matches the version of the package. So I download and internalized locally, and the version there matches too. @FLeven could you try again and see if the MSI is corrected? It's possible you ran into some caching or timing scenario.

The problem was reported by a Tenable Nessus scan, the installed version was an old one, Chocolatey listed the .83 version.
The shortly after version .83 released version (.84 ) fixed the issue, THX.
