I’m not sure whether we can find a dedicated link like the JRE and JDK packages, so this may not even be a feasible package.

In addition, I’m wondering whether the ID should be java-ee-8-web-profile or java-ee-web-profile since Java EE 8 is the last version. (They changed name to Jakarta EE for future releases.)

@FranklinYu If we can't get a URL for the software then this can't be a package. Can you confirm it?

@pauby I think a package for this is still possible.
Most likely it will need to provide a cookie to be able to download it though.
Similar to what was mentioned on a different RFP.

I say we open this up for maintainers, if it turns out that it truly is impossible we can mark it as Blocked/Invalid.

@FranklinYu I didn't find something like "Java EE 8 SDK, Web Profile" on https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javaee/overview/index.html , even after quickly searched on Google, could you tell us where this installer can be found?

@chtof If you do end up creating this package can you try and stick to the naming convention for the java packages that are already up in Chocolatey.org?

@pauby We will see if I am able to create a such package handling a cookie. If not, your message will be also useful for another volunteer ;-) For now, the 1st is to know where we can find the installer wished by @FranklinYu

@chtof The page seems to have been migrated to https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/java-ee-sdk-web-download.html but we don't have direct link and that's the problem.
