I have two displays connected to my device and I thought the old extension you were forking supported displaying the taskbar on all displays and even separating which programs were listed on the taskbar relative to the display they were on.

Any plans to support this feature in the future? Or, if it already does, I couldn't find the setting to enable it; can you point me in the right direction?

Currently Taskbar doesn't support multiple monitors. I'm considering to implement it. But in august at the earliest.

I would also like to see this feature. I found this extension because "Window List" broke for some reason and I really like this extension save this one key feature. I will keep an eye on this issue eagerly.

Taskbar is not working properly with multiple displays; the pane extends to the second monitor but on that montor it is not aligned to the bottom of the screen and does not have the black background.

My setup:
TaskBar 2020 Version 58
Debian 10 Buster
Gnome 3.30.2
Left Monitor: Primary 1280 x 1024
Right Monitor: Secondary 1920 x 1080

The project looks very nice except for this issue. I will try it again in the future and would be happy to help test.
