When exporting we generate the json metadata file to track whether or not something allowed to circulate in IA, the field 'digitalLendingPossible' only exists in the json when it has a value of False. This causes some noise when filtering the process on our end. The noise doesnt break the current process but for the sake of robustness, it would be good to have a "True" value in there for everything which can circulate online.

Sure! Also, just one caveat: I sometimes mark works as no digitally lendable after they are synced (I look at the newly synced images and spot some that are from LTWA, then mark them), so it would be best not to send works to IA before at least a few days after they are synced

That is really good to know, but less than ideal. Our upload to IA process right now is more automatic than it used to be, and uses the initial sync as the triggering event to get the ball rolling. I'm going to talk through this with Jim just to see what the best course of action is moving forward. To me this seems more like a process/workflow conversation than a technology design issue. Thanks again for bringing this up, this is good to know.
