Dropping support for pre iOS 13 devices

📣 As of next release, iOS 13 no longer supported 📣

Hi all, in an effort to keep with the times and also provide the most stable library possible, it's been decided that iOS 11 and 12 support will be dropped as of next release.

What this means however is that we will start to see async/await make its way into the library.
