decimal point from keyboard not recognized

While I can enter digits and press enter the decimal point is not recognized as a key - neither on the 10pad nor the point or comma on the main keyboard. I have to click on the screen button for a decimal point.

Expected behaviour would be: Upon entering a point (either 10pad or main keyboard) enter a decimal point
