Currently not. There are plans for a migration tool to be implemented into DAVx5 directly, but currently we have so many other things to work on that it had to be pushed into the "not so near" future. If you want to transfer local contacts, you need to export the contacts manually into vcf-file(s) in the contacts app you use, then import them back on Android but instaed choose the DAVx5 address book account as import destination. Then DAVx5 will sync them to your server upon next sync. |

thanks for the quick reply! I was interested in a DAVx5 VCF importer since DAVx5's vCard import supports quite a couple of vCard features that stock Android import doesn't support (most notably: parsing vCard CATEGORIES fields into android contact groups, and parsing vCard RELATED fields) for now I've set up a temporary local CardDAV server that serves VCF files from a directory in order to (ab)use DAVx5 as a VCF import tool, but it would be nice to be able to do this without such shenanigans :) thanks for all the good work! |

Could / Will DAVx5 support reading from local VCF files, similar to the featureds ICSx5 provides for ICAL files?
