Climate control status #521
-
Currently there is no way of figuring out wether climate control is active or not. However, this information seem to be available in the 'state' object (retrieved using the fingerprinting function). For example, enabling the climate control gives me: "climateControlState": { "activity": "HEATING", "remainingSeconds": 1790.846 } (nice to know in the millisecond when it is done!) And when it is off: "climateControlState": { "activity": "INACTIVE" } I assume "activity" can also be "COOLING" or something similar. But it doesn't matter too much, it would be nice if we could have 'climateControlState' reflecting 'activity' (and any additional information in the dict as attributes?) added to vehicle_status.py and a corresponding sensor for hass. Please :-) |

Thanks for the fingerprint! We surely should be able to include that! How quickly does the value change in the fingerprint? Is it instant after the remote service has been executed? |

Yes, now when spring is finally here, I can confirm that "COOLING" is in fact also a state. |
