  • Make sure you're using the latest bHaptics application.
    • On Windows, you need the latest bHaptics Player and bHapticsOSC.exe.
    • On Meta Quest, download the bHaptics Player application from the Meta Horizon store. You will also need to enable the VRChat OSC feature in the app.
  • Please check that you have enabled OSC feature in VRChat.
  • Use the Avatar with bHaptics applied.
    • On Meta Quest, you need to use the avatar that uses the latest bHaptics Unity package.
      • Try V2M Playtest, our official bHaptics avatar works on VRChat for Meta Quest.
      • Use the latest Unity package if you're making the custom avatar. You should use a Unity package that is later than v2.0.0.

Note

Currently, the avatars from bHaptics Avatar World don't work on Meta Quest. We're currently working on preparing more avatars that will work on Meta Quest.

bHaptics for VRChat will only work under the right conditions. Please refer to our official VRChat guide for detailed information.

If you still have problems, please report the details including:

  • What OS (Windows 10/11, Meta Horizon OS) is the VRChat running on?
  • What avatar you're using?
  • When the haptic didn't work? When you touch yourself? Or someone else touched you?
