Hello, in the documentation for kpAxis (https://rdrr.io/bioc/karyoploteR/man/kpAxis.html), it says that If gene densities are plotted on the ideogram, the axes can go there by specifying data.panel="ideogram" in kpAxis. I got this information from the last sentence in https://bernatgel.github.io/karyoploter_tutorial//Examples/GeneDensityIdeograms/GeneDensityIdeograms.html . The official documentation for kpAxis is misleading as this possibility is not mentioned and the expected data type is numeric.
data.panel="ideogram"
kpAxis
numeric
