Mint 21, vgrive seems to be syncing for days but hasnt completed sync

Describe the bug
61 GB in google drive, been running over 2 days syncing, no errors BUT NOT COMPLETE, no problems with internet connections etc

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS:linux mint 21 (fully patched) : 5.15.0-48-generic SegFault From libsoup #54-Ubuntu SMP Fri Aug 26 13:26:29 UTC 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
• VGrive Version : 1.6.1 from flatpak from flathub (using linux mint "software mgr")

I've noticed this problem on my system also (VGrive on Linux Mint). For some reason, VGrive inspects(?) every file before deciding to leave it alone or delete it or upload it. And this takes maybe 10-seconds per file. Worse, VGrive often deletes local files only to restore them much later in its process. It was driving me crazy!

To resolve this I've taken two steps:

1. I drastically reduced the number of folders and files I want to save in Google Drive. That way when VGrive is running, it completes faster.

2. In VGrive settings, I turned off "launch on start-up". I manually turn on VGrive at the end of my work day, so it will complete by morning.

Not the best resolution, but it works for me. Hopefully someone will find a better solution.
