What went wrong? How is anyone meant to help with no information?
If it is a dell, you need the serial number (I inferred this to be "DRORNH2-6FF1" (without quotes)) and remember to press CTRL+Enter when you input it if just pressing enter fails. It is way more important than you realise (and is there to try and prevent people from bruteforcing). As someone who has reset a Dell myself, and who deals with Github issues, I can tell you you are probably doing that, but we need to know what went wrong.
