The plot shows the ETA (estimated time of arrival) for trips between random points within Paris by 3 different means of transport (Comparison with transit [here](#transit)).

The ETA for transit is a total time which sums together approaching, waiting, and traveling times.
**Note** that comparison of driving time versus transit time is **unfair** because transit time counts also the approaching and waiting times, for cars and bikes only the travel time is considered.
Although with the current protocol transit time is, at worst, just 15 min slower than driving time, which seems about the dead time one would expect because of parking and approaching, I do not have a quantitative estimate. Hence, *I continue the analysis ignoring the transit time*.
