[Feature Request] Allow random user ID to be used for sync across devices

I run grapheneos and so can't use Google or Apple to sign in.

It looks like you automatically generate a random user ID and sync to a server. Perhaps it's a relatively simple change to allow typing in the random user ID as a sort of janky login?

It feels like it would be not so much work compared to a full login flow.
