When I start an exercise, the default equipment used is "None" and if I select the equipment, it displays all "Available Equipment" plus the equipment in the gym.
When I go to "Equipment Settings" it looks like there's a global list of equipment, including Trap Bar, EZ Bar, and so on. I can add and remove custom equipment, but I cannot delete the pre-existing equipments in the list.
When I click on the "manage gyms" link from Equipment Settings, I can create a new gym. But that gym will also show up with that global list of equipment, and it cannot be removed. I can add and remove equipment specific to the gym, i.e. if I add a "Home Gym" and a "Work Gym" then I can add different custom equipment that is not available to the other gym, but the global list is still there in both.
The issue here is that my home gym has a powerbar, a vitrivian, and nothing else -- this list is not accurate and I am still seeing the drop down list of equipment I don't have when the home gym is selected.
It's also very confusing that the settings page will change the "available equipment" page to point to either the available equipment or a list of gyms, depending on how many gyms you have.
Can we make "available equipment" contain a list of equipment types (ez bar, barbell, vitruvian) that is a catalog available, and have the gym settings page contain a list of gyms that allows addition of equipment (inventory) from the available equipment?
The equipment types should not have available weights listed or visible, and different gyms should be able to have different instances of equipment with different available weights -- "gym 1" and "gym 2" may both have barbells, but with different weights available.
The current gym should always be available, and should have a drop down of the available gyms. There must be at least one gym. On account creation, a default gym with no equipment should be created.
