This is just a fork for ugly hack to make original saliency code to run in OSX (and other Unix).

Compiling saliency.so:

  • Make sure you have opencv2 installed

  • Copy opencv libraries commands from output of

    $> pkg-config --libs opencv
    
  • Modify (if needed) OPENCV_LIBS in project_root/CmLib/Saliency/makefile with your opencv libs

  • Run either make shared_unix or make shared_osx depending on your system
