it seems to be possible in non gm sims (and presumably with scripts) space debris, also presumably beacons take up a slot anomaly types past what is seen in a standard sim seem not to be able to be spawned at all - in 2.6 they spawned with incorrect scan information, presumably this is unchanged (but needs testing)
