Description

Hi everyone, I have a Katury Tuya controller that I have flashed with Tasmota 14.0 (then upgraded to 14.1). The unit is rather basic and prior to wiping the ESP8285N08, the unit would do everything I wanted, except stop working in the Tuya cloud. Let's just say I had an ISP issue for about an hour, returned home, didn't have other keys with me and was unable to get back into my house until the Internet came back up. Yikes! Thedevice has a wired in magnet switch that lets the controller know if the door is open or closed.

I have flashed the device with Tasmota, configured it as TuyaMCU (54) and the relay functionality works from the GUI, but the status reporting is all wrong.

Goal

1. When the door is closed state (contact switch shorted), the status reported in the GUI (and MQTT) should be ON.
2. When the door is open, no matter if triggered by a wireless remote or via Tasmota, the status should be OFF.

What Really Happens

1. When the door is the closed state, the status reported in the GUI shows ON.
2. When the door is opened manually or with remote, the status reported in the GUI shows ON.
3. When the door is opened via Tasmota, the status goes from ON -> OFF - ON

4. When the door is is triggered to close via Tasmota, the status goes from ON -> OFF -> ON -> OFF -> ON

This is extremely problematic because:

1. I have rules in HA that trigger on state change and this causes the triggers to fire multiple times
2. I am unable to see the actual state of the door in Tasmota or HA

I have dived through as many forums as I can find and everything I find doesn't seem to either align or make any notable changes.

After some more digging, I am not sure my TyaMCU commands are even correct. I see this from the WebLog.
