Filter by related model

I have a product list which displays a related model in the index, configured like this:

    'title' => [
        'title' => 'Title',
        'field' => 'title',
    ],
    'brand' => [
        'title' => 'Brand',
        'relatedBrowser' => 'brand',
        'field' => 'title'
    ]
];

How would I enable the search by the brand title or even add a dropdown to select a brand.

Are either option possible out of the box?
