Sliding v0 release for auto-updates #201

When not used in a particular version, the most recent version may produce errors. |
maybe we should release the v1.0.0 version so it will create v1, v1.0 and v1.0.0 version. Right? |
@appleboy Github Actions don't support version normalization nor ranges. Tagging v1.0.0 makes action only instalable as v1.0.0, not v1.0 or v1. That's why it is needed to have v1 tag and overwrite it with any v1.x.y release for auto-updates. |
Hello,
could you please tag
v0
and overwrite that tag with each v0.x release? That way, users of this action can get fixes automatically with new releases. All actions from GitHub support version ranges this way, e.g. actions/checkout@v3.1.0...v3
Thank you
