Flatpak version?

I would love to have a flatpak version available, if at all possible.

Atomic distributions are on the rise and they rely on Flatpak heavily, thus having this software package as Flatpak would be very beneficial.

Not to mention that anything on Flathub gets exposure, so it might get a surge in usage.

Unfortunately it seems commits are scarce and everything seems a bit stale, although there is no indication of this project being in maintenace mode or abandoned. I've been loving this project for more than 2 decades. Perhaps @gonosztopi might clarify the situation.

For those who need a universal package in the mean time there are a Snap package and a Nix package.
