Set Auth Type and content from code

Is there a way to set the Auth Type and it's content from code?

I know that i can set initial headers and that works, but when i set it the Authorization header is only visible in the Set Header dialog:

but the Auth Type in the Auth tab stayes empty:

which can be confusing to users.

There's currently no way to specify the auth type via code

Ok, that's a shame. Thank you for your answer 🙂 .
Then i'll try to educate my users to look into the Set Headers dialog if there are any problems for them. 🙃
