Privacy concern - Does Altair shares any kind of user information?

My team is concerned about what kind of data Altair shares with 3rd party.

Does anyone knows something about these topics?

• privacy
• telemetry
• anything that could make the compliance sector mad?

We removed Google analytics a long time ago from the app largely due to privacy concerns. What kind of third party are you concerned with? We don't share any data with any third party, at least not intentionally.

Also you can always go through the source code yourself and if you identify any concerns, you can flag that. Some other pieces of information to note:

• we recently added sentry error tracking to the desktop apps
• the Altair cloud installation also has newrelic instrumentation
