Poser
Like the Honey Select/Custom Maid 3D 2 posers, this allows you to freely move the bones of a character (or characters) to make custom poses.
Enable the poser in the launcher's scripts tab. You can configure its settings by pressing the Settings button on the right of the launcher.
Once you are in the Maker OR the Game and can see a high-poly model, press F12 to activate the poser. This will open 2 windows, the Quickload window and the Editing window.
Poser files, including pose files, scene files, and props, are saved in the AAU\poser folder, as shown below:
- Charitems - Old-style props, which are saved as .xx files and contain an AA2 skeleton to bind the prop with respect to the loaded character.
- Items - New-style props, which are saved as .xx files and do not contain an AA2 skeleton to bind the prop with respect to the loaded character.
- Poses - Poses are saved as .pose files, which are text files. Downloaded old poses can be converted by simply adding the file extension.
- Scenes - Scenes are saved as .scene files, which are text files.
More information on all these files can be found below.
Save/Load poses and scenes for quick future access.
- Poses/Scenes tabs - Select whether you are loading a pose (1 character) or a scene (unlimited characters, props, and camera position)
- Search Box - Search for a pose/scene by name. Only looks for a character string, so if you type "spo" above it will include "00_Spock" in results.
- Selection Box - List all poses/scenes that you have saved in their respective folders. Click to select.
- Pose/Scene field - The name of the selected pose/scene. Write in a name to save as a new file.
- Load - Load the selected pose/scene.
- Save - Save the pose/scene with the name written into the name field. Overwrites same-name files without a prompt, so check first before saving!
- Locks - Enable a lock to prevent loading a pose/scene from changing the locked option for all loaded entities.
- World Bone - Lock the world bone (the recommended bone for setting a character's location in space).
- Face - Lock facial expression.
- Props - Lock all loaded props.
- Camera - Lock camera angle.
- Delete - Delete the selected pose/scene. There is a popup second-check to prevent accidental deletion.
- Animation - Select base pose. Pose 0 is present in all situations, while any pose 1 and above varies depending on setting (clothing screen, sex, etc).
- Reset Pose - Reset all changes made to the base pose
When making/naming poses, consider using the following naming convention to help people know where to use the pose:
- T_posename - T-stance pose 0 *As previously stated, poses made with base pose 0 can be used in any situation/location in the game.
- M_posename - Clothing Screen M is for "Maker" since the clothing area uses your Maker pose files.
- D_posename - Dialogue
- I_posename - H-intros
- H_posename - H-positions
- B_posename - Bukkake
- For two-character poses like sex positions, name the poses posename_0 and posename_1 respectively. (Don't forget to save the pose for both characters when posing 2 at once, since it only saves the pose for the selected character)
The Editing window allows you to control the Bones and Clothes for loaded characters, as well as the Bones for loaded props (where applicable).
The Bones tab handles the vast majority of posing functions, and applies to both Characters and Props
-
Characters/Props - Switch tabs to change what is being controlled: character models or prop items. Click a character or prop on the list to select and pose it.
-
Characters/Prop Lists - List all loaded characters/props. Click to select the target for posing.
-
Up/Down Arrows (^ and v) - Change the position of the character in the character list. This is relevant to Scenes, which apply poses based on position on this list.
-
Add - Add a character to the scene. The add-selection list includes all cards in the class. Each character can only be added once.
-
Remove - Remove the highlighted character on the list from the scene. Does not work for the initially loaded character(s).
-
Add CharProps (aka CharItems) - Add a CharProp skeleton. This is the older prop style, but it also allows things like binding props to a specific bone (like hands).
-
Detach - Remove the attached CharProp skeleton.
-
Show UI/Hide UI - Hide UI removes the entire game UI, leaving only a black background. Show UI undoes this action.
-
Reset Pose - Reset to the base pose for the selected character.
-
Window Mode Tabs - Select the editing menu on the right side of the window.
- Bones - Default menu. Edit bones for characters and props, or facial expressions for characters. The rest of this section will pertain to this tab.
- Clothes - Edit clothing options for loaded characters. See below for details on this tab.
- Meshes - Currently no function.
- Frames - Currently no function.
-
Search box - Find the desired bone by name.
-
Show/Hide - Hide removes the selected bone or prop/mesh from visibility. Show undoes this action.
-
Operation - Select Rotate, Translate, or Scale
-
Rotate/Translate/Scale - Rotate/Move/Resize bone along the chosen axis
-
Modifier - Sliders and slider settings
-
x1/x10/x100 - Set the amplification of the +/- buttons. Higher amplification has greater change per button press.
-
Reset - Completely resets the selected bone to its 0 for all Scale/Rotation/Translate sliders. X/Y/Z Numeral Fields - Type in a modification for a bone, or view the current setting based on the +/- buttons and sliders.
-
0/-/+ - Increase/decrease positions per Operation and Modifier. Any 0 fully resets rotations for all axes. For translation or scaling, 0 is 1-slider only.
-
X/Y/Z Sliders - Increase/decrease positions per Operation and Modifier. Releasing the handle resets the handle position to centered.
-
Mouth - Select mouth expression and openness (0-9).
-
Yogurt - Enable/disable a mouthful of yogurt.
-
Eye - Select eye expression and openness (0-9).
-
Dim Eyes - Enable/disable eye highlight.
-
Tears - Enable/disable tears.
-
Eye Tracking - Enable/disable eye tracking. Toggle is disabled if the game disables eye tracking while you have it enabled (like the clothing area) Eyebrow - Select eyebrow expression. Blush - Select blush intensity (top) and blush line intensity (bottom).
- Many features are still under construction/somewhat buggy. Report all findings to get them fixed!
- When choosing a character or bone to pose, make sure to select the character, then the category, then the bone, then the type of operation. You may have to click off and back onto the operation for it to realize you wanted to rotate, not translate, the new thing you're posing.
- The "bones" of the prop list are generated by the prop you are posing, and all bones and meshes are listed. Any prop skeleton will work in the poser, allowing for direct ports from pretty much any game if you can get the file into SB3U.
- SCENE_ROOT is the standard "move everything" bone/frame for moving rooms and other props. Include that in your prop's Frame Tree!
- For additional image guides to mouth/eye/eyebrow expressions and the lists of base poses, refer to this link.
The Clothes tab allows you to edit the outfit state of any loaded characters wherever you are in the game.
- Clothing - Choose outfit settings, as well as the card's Style.
- Slot - Set outfit (Class/Gym/Swim/Club).
- State - Set outfit state (nude/fully clothed/fully clothed, panties aside/panties/panties only, aside).
- Style - Cycle between any saved Styles on the card.
- Load Cloth - Directly load a saved .cloth file. Overwrites anything you've set for legwear/skirt/strap-on prior to loading.
- Leg Wear - Choose the state of socks/shoes.
- KO_ - Thigh-highs
- KH_ - Socks
- KC_ - Low Socks
- KR_ - Ruffled Socks
- KP_ - Stockings
- __U - Indoor shoes
- __K - Outdoor Shoes
- __S - Gym Shoes
- asi/A__ - Bare feet/no socks
- Skirt - Choose the state of the skirt.
- Lo - Long
- So - Short
- Su_n - Pulled up (see some sex intro poses)
- Sukato - Removed
- Strap-on - Choose if the character has a visible p0n0s or not. Or strap-on, depending on your uncensor.
- A00_N_dan - Visible dong.
- None - Invisible dong.
- When in doubt, click the outfit and then the state you want to see to reset it.
- Avoid States 3 and 4 of outfits which don't have them, or you could activate the AA2 glitch that resets the outfit to the sailor uniform.
- But if you DO activate that bug, loading the cloth file again should fix it.
- Any loaded .cloth files will persist through the rest of the day and become the character's new outfit until changed again, either in the clothing editor area or in the poser again.
- There is a known visual bug such that, when loading more than 11 characters in the poser, characters 12 and 13 are not affected by the game's light sources. This can be fixed with the following console command: walk_fixlight(GetCharacter(10).m_xxLegs.m_root,2)
- Important GOOD NEWS: if the game crashes while you are posing, you can still save the pose/scene! Just save as though everything was fine (but as a new copy - backups save lives!) and then close the crashed game.
The Lighting tab allows you to edit the lighting of the scene, whether you're in conversation or the clothing menu or sex.
