i can give you any info or tests you need for this to work with Emulated HUE

Sounds like Emulated Hue is sending the json in a way that the hue api in yalcy doesn't understand. I'd need to see it to understand why but I don't have a home assistant setup to get it running.

home assistant does run on vm and is free. it also can run on a raspberry pi 3 and up. there is a home assistant docker version too but is not as good. home assistant will run on any pc aswell. like i said i can run what ever you like for debugging. maybe a build that shows more of whats going on that i could send you the files or text.

this may be the issues with emulated hue step 5 push the button on hub first then click register button. i cant do it that way i have to have the app request to hook up then allow it to from within home assistant. it only shows up after theres a request not before.
