I've been thinking in this for a while and the fact why the things are done as they are is one thing: Generalize.
The main problem with Unity animations and sprites is that you can change the sprite specifically, but not in a tiling way.
I think that we can actually mix up the advantages of Isotextures and their tiling with the native unity animations can be the perfect solución for both worlds, maintaining the generalism.
Have you any idea we can mix animator pages so we can have native supported IsoUnity animations and the support to include new ones? I'll investigate it but any idea is appreciated :D
Actually the characters can only walk and jump, what can be do for adding more actions like take a sit or act?
