Any plans to update?

Are there any plans to update the API calls within speech_recognition? I think this is a great package, but a lot of the service calls are out-of-date.

Alternatively, is anyone aware of a fork with more up-to-date functions?

Turns out this library is not needed at all, for my use case. I am using Google Speech API, and they are really matured now. They have sample codes that use microphone easily. I dont need speech_recognition lib. anymore.

@mytja thx for doing this I am eager to test Vosk too but I bet it uses more resources than current pocketsphinx, doesn't it ? BTW why forking it and not merging back to upstream ? or maintainer is no more active ? in that case may you consider @abandonware org
