Desktop sharing requires a VNC server with support for reverse connections.

For macOS, the RealVNC server was the only solution available when we started with PalMA, but recent versions of RealVNC (version 6 and later) obviously no longer support reverse connections ("Connect to Listening VNC Viewer").

Users can still install older versions of the RealVNC server (which is difficult), or they must find a way how to get a reverse connection with the latest version.

If we had a signed installer / binary for OSXvnc, it could replace the RealVNC server.

Replacement already found, problem of codesigning the installer still unsolved. Tests ongoing.

Although the codesigning problem is not solved, the VineServer.dmg was integrated in the testing branch and can be delivered to the palma stations.
Might be not best solution for user to change security settings to start the viewer. But there is no alternative right now, so this should be ok until a proper solution (with a clean codesigning) will be found.

Still problems with secure codesigning the app. Can not find a solution because of unsolved and unknown dependencies between used libraries.
