Detrimental to use it through SearXNG?

Does it hurt the project in any major way if we use it via SearXNG as just one of multiple engines? I'm thinking especially about its ability to improve its results ranking over time.

Since its results relevance is still pretty limited I'm trying to combine it with other independent search engines that have their own crawlers, and use them together through a SearXNG instance, but I wouldn't like to continue if this hurts these engines' development.
