Hey!
In the past few months, we focused on handling the incoming issues as quickly as possible: by solving them or at least providing the information on when/with which milestone we will handle the given issue.
We have also recently classified all the existing issues inside the repository (as part of resolving-existing-issues). We have defined three categories:
The last bucket contains issues with ancient provider versions. The architecture of the provider changed significantly since version v0.34.0. The introduction of the SDK solved multiple common problems inside the repository. We have decided to close issues from the third bucket to reduce the noise. We will ensure that issues getting attention in the past few months remain open. If any of the issues you believe are still valid will be closed as part of this cleanup, please:
We will close the issues in the coming days. Each closed issue will have a link to this announcement. We will also add labels to all the issues inside the repository to make the classification transparent.
Two other buckets will be resolved gradually in the upcoming months as part of supporting-snowflake-ga-features.
If you have any questions/doubts, please contact us through GitHub.
